SA Recycling’s Lindsay Maine Speaks at the CUPA Conference
Lindsay Maine, Hazardous and Universal Waste Manager, spoke at the CUPA Forum on February 2nd, 2011. The CUPA Forum is an annual training symposium for the State of California. Regulators attend various topic tracts and individual classes to get refresher training and updates on new topics or changes. Recently they have opened the doors to the industry to provide that unique perspective to the regulations and discuss some challenges on the implementation side.
Lindsay spoke and educated 40 attendees at the Hyatt Regency in Orange County on the topic of appliance recycling. A summary was given on the regulations and daily operations with regard to recycling end of life appliances at SA recycling. Lastly, Lindsay addressed challenges our industry faces with implementation of the regulations.
